How We Do It - Home School Works:
We will do the bulk of the training for you. We teach your puppy first, then teach you how to achieve and maintain their new skills.
Each week, the trainer will work with your puppy in your home for three 30-minute sessions, developing the skills you want your puppy to become proficient in, and one 45-minute session to transfer and teach you how to maintain the new behaviors your puppy has just learned.
What you and your puppy will learn:
Introduction to foundation cues and basic manners like sit, come, and settle.
How to implement stress-free handling skills to prepare for grooming and Veterinarian visits.
Learn how to read your dog’s body language and be proactive in various real-life situations.
Proactive Prevention - Potty training, puppy biting and nipping, crate training, alone time, etc.
Twelve-day training sessions (trainer works with your dog) + four transfer sessions (trainer works with you and your dog) – (approximately four weeks)
Investment in your puppy:
3 payments of $934 or 1 payment of $2,722 and save $80

SOCIALIZATION
Why it’s so important!
Socialization is the process of positively introducing your puppy to Places, People, Animals, Sounds, Objects, and Obstacles in a manner that’s tailored to his own needs so he will more easily accept new experiences as an adult. Once puppies reach a certain age – around 3-4 months – their ability to easily accept new experiences begins to wane. If they have not been well socialized by that time, you can see all sorts of behavioral problems stemming from fear-aggression, agoraphobia, reactivity towards certain people, animals, or situations, et cetera. Early socialization gives your puppy the best chance of remaining part of your family for his lifetime.
According to the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, (AVSAB), improper socialization can lead to behavior problems later in life. The organization’s position statement on socialization reads: “Behavioral issues, not infectious diseases, are the number one cause of death for dogs under three years of age.”
A well-socialized puppy grows into a confident well-behaved adult dog. Furthermore, a dog that enjoys meeting new people, and dogs, and flourishes in new situations.
Socialization can be a way to protect your puppy against all sorts of undesirable adult dog behaviors and their tragic consequences.

How old does my puppy need to be to start training?
Start training your new pup as early as 7-8 weeks old—it's never too soon to get started! By getting a jumpstart on their training, you'll help them develop good habits right away and make shaping their behavior a breeze as they grow up.
What will my dog learn working with you?
We don't just teach basic commands; we're all about helping your pup become a well-rounded member of your family. Our personalized programs focus on real-life skills and great manners, making sure your little buddy can handle whatever the world throws at them. Can you train my puppy for me?
Definitely! We understand how hectic life can get, so our We Do It Day Training is designed with convenience in mind for both you and your little furball. While you're busy with work or other commitments, we'll work with your pup three times a week on fun, engaging training sessions. Then, during our weekly 45-minute Coaching session, we'll teach you everything you need to know to practice and reinforce what your puppy has learned. This way, you'll maintain that special bond while ensuring your pup receives the best professional training!
What are the benefits of "We Do It Day Training" where you train my dog for me?
Let's be real, one-on-one coaching can be helpful, but it can also be a lot to take on—especially if you've got a packed schedule. We know you've got a lot on your plate already, and becoming a professional dog trainer might not be your thing. That's totally cool! We're here to take the stress out of training with our We Do It - Day Training program. We'll handle the tough stuff while you focus on the fun stuff—like cuddling and playing with your adorable pup. You'll get to enjoy all the perks of having a well-behaved fur baby, without adding a ton more to your to-do list.
Do I need special equipment to train my puppy?
We use a clicker, yummy treats, and a bait bag to hold your treats. We also recommend a 6 ft. leather, nylon or biothane leash, flat collar or harness.
We do not use flexi-leashes, choke chains, prong collars, or e-collars.
